I am the shit. I know I am! But sometimes it doesn't feel like it. Sometimes it's really hard to feel like the accomplishments I've made mean much, even though I can clearly see my growth and have received validation from other people.
"I saw that hosting thing you did, that's so cool!"
"Your mom told me about last semester's GPA, you go girl!"
"I wanna be just like you."
Shoot, in my wildest dreams, I'd be you so I can see what you see in me.
I need that white man confidence, the kind that lets me soar beyond mediocrity and just GO for things, even when I'm literally not deserving. Not that I'm not deserving, I know what my resume looks like. But still.
